At Sunshine, we strive to make the best solventless products the Colorado market has to offer. We are continually searching for new cultivars to add to our library of robust strains, allowing us to provide the Colorado consumer with an eclectic variety of terpene profiles with every purchase. Our veteran grow team uses traditional techniques, coupled with state-of-the-art technologies to efficiently produce cutting edge strains. We are owner-operated and control everything in-house through our integrated cultivation and extraction facility.
What is micron size?
When we refer to micron size, we are referring to the size of the holes in the mesh bags used during the ice water wash step in the extraction process. Fresh frozen cannabis is stirred in an ice water bath. Terpenes & cannabinoids are agitated off of the plant, and caught by mesh bags. The smaller the micron size number, the smaller the hole in the bag, determining what passes through into your hash product.

Combination of all remaining trichomes to form a concentrate with a higher potency resulting in a more cerebral experience. Available in 1G and 3G.
Our Process:
We first separate out the first pull when washing to have a clean 90u pull. The hash is then collected in the 90u bag which consists of 90u-149u with a 150u on top. That tray is then freeze dried and then prepped with two 25u micron bags. Once freeze dried, the hash is pressed out using heat & pressure, and collected into a jar. Finally, the 90u Rosin is cured & whipped to perfection.
Full Spectrum
Combination of all remaining trichomes to form a concentrate with a higher potency resulting in a more cerebral experience. Available in 1G and 3G.
Our Process:
Full spectrum Rosin starts out with combining the first pull of 45u-90u and two more pulls of 45u-149u trichome heads, and mixing them all together. That tray is then freeze dried and prepped with two 25u micron bags. Then, the freeze dried product is pressed using heat & pressure, and collected into a jar. Finally, the Full Spectrum Rosin is cured & whipped to perfection.
